info@nancyalonzoministries.com My dear friends, As you all know the ministry has been very busy. I am happy to say a big thank you to all of my supporters. These trips are made possible only through your contributions. On June 9, I have a very large and expensive trip coming up. I will be taking a team of 13 to Africa. We will be flying into Kilimanjaro, Tanzania and out of Entebbe, Uganda. In both of these places we will be working with our missionaries from Victory. We will be in many villages, reaching the lost in the streets, in the schools and in the churches. This trip is going to be extraordinary. Usually my cost is defrayed by the team. This is not possible this time. The cost has escalated due to the resent rise in gas prices. We are looking at the air fair alone being almost $3000. Please pray and ask the Lord what He would have you give. Even the smallest amount will help. Become a part of this mission. As Paul said, “ Not that I seek the gift, but the fruit that abounds to your account.” (Phil.4:17) REPORTS FROM THE FIELDMARDI GRAS OUTREACH In John 12:32, Jesus said, "If I am lifted up in the earth, I will draw all peoples to Myself." The team stayed at our home this year. We were small but mighty. Every night others from Victory joined us. At the corner of Toulouse and Bourbon we stood next to the cross handing out tracks. It's amazing in the streets you truly realize that there is an appointed time for everyone. Why else would a young Jewish girl spend 45 minutes of her partying night talking and asking questions about Jesus. One evening I was looking down the street away from Canal and I spotted a young man. I was looking at him when he saw the cross. Tears began to well up in his eyes. He was totally out of control. The conviction of and the connection to the cross touched his heart and he was undone. He stood with us and cried and listen for quite some time. We may never know how we affected people on the streets those few days. We only know that we were doing what we believed to be God's will. BIKE WEEK On the way to Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida, I had the privilege of sitting next to a young Jewish girl. She was on her way home to California from doing relief work with her class mates in Waveland, Mississippi. She was so precious and quite talkative. After we exchanged names. I told her where I was headed and what I did. This sparked many questions. What started out to be a casual conversation turned into something so much deeper. I was able to share my testimony with her. At one point I said to her that there really wasn't a lot of difference between us. This peaked her interest even more. I told her that my Messiah, Jesus, had come. And she said that she believed hers was coming soon. I replied, " Isn't that interesting, we believe that Jesus is coming back again, soon." I know that this started her thinking and I know that others will be placed in her life to continue to minister Jesus to her. As we were landing she let me pray for her. God is so good. The days at Bike Week were great, divine appointments at every turn. We were all over Daytona, The Battlefield where the largest Harley Dealership in the U.S. is and Iron Horse Solon on Hwy. One and than one night we went to Main street. There were estimated to be at least 500,000 bikers in Daytona that week. It's an amazing harvest field. Pray for the seeds that were been planted. Remember the children of Israel needed fresh manna form heaven everyday and so do you. Rest in His Presence. Lay at His feet. Than began that busy day. PARIS, FRANCE Paris was wonderful. Our Pastor friends there, Celeste and Dominique Gncssounou, gave us a warm welcome along with many others. Sadly though, there wasn’t enough time to attend all of the services that we were invited to preach in. But we were able to catch up with many of our friends. They all want us back, so pray, perhaps next time I will bring a larger team. LIMA, PERU Peru was a tremendous blessing. We were off during the day and preaching revival every night at different churches. I was asked back in June but I had to decline due to the Africa trip. But it’s possible I may go back in the Fall. I’m sure you’ve all heard by now Fay Lutz went home to be with the Lord. Thank the Lord that we will all be together again one day. In Lima I was scheduled to preach at a very large woman’s meeting. The title of my message was The Epistle of Fay Lutz. So in Lima, Peru, I held my own memorial service for Fay. Fay and I had been close friends for at least 25 years and in all of that time I can honestly say she was one of the people I would call when I was at the end of it all. Her love and wisdom was needed and appreciated. I prayed that night to be sure that I could get through the service without completely falling apart. I love her so much. It started out with The Song of Solomon. She was so in love with Jesus. Than went to 2 Cor.4:7, We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of ourselves. We always were able to see the treasure within Fay. She lived her Christianity for all to see. It was evident that she had a constant impartation from Heaven. Verce16 says, Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. As she went home praising and worshiping Our Lord we can be confident, yes well pleased that she may have been absent from her body but surely she was immediately present with the Lord. (2 Cor.5:8) That night thirty young women were added to the kingdom and one young man. Fay’s legacy goes on. I ended with 2 Tim.4:6-7, (The words of Paul) ( Or the words of Fay) For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Keep the Lutz family and friends in your prayers. She will be missed. As some of you know, when I’m on the field I write regular E-mails. If you would like to be on that list, please let me know. Until next time, may Our Lord richly bless you.
